I don'...Hi, I found your blog through NaBloPoMo. I don't have any children yet myself, but my work is to do with children's issues. I've just been to a conference in Italy on child participation. Some of the speakers stressed that it is the responsibility of adults to listen to children, and also to understand the different ways that children might choose to communicate - through toys, or drawing, etc. Although it is sad about the little lamb, it is so good that you took the time to really listen and understand what it was your son wanted to say. If I have children one day, I will do my best to do that too. Thanks so much for sharing.
